Colorworld LIVE! World Premiere & Playwright Debut

   

 

Colorworld LIVE! had its world premiere weekend January 25th-27th, 2025 at the historic Charles R. Wood Theater located in downtown Glens Falls in the heart of the Glens Falls Arts District.

It was the most inspiring weekend of my life getting to see this story grow from a 40-page picture book into a 40-minute live-action play. We had a cast of 9 actors and a half dozen crew members who brilliantly helped bring it all to life. We performed a run of 5 shows for over 750 audience members, including a pair of special “School Day” showings for eight local elementary schools.

”Colorworld” the 40-page picture book was published in 2021 and the full length 160-page chapter book adaptation was published in 2025, both written, illustrated, and designed by Anthony Richichi, published by Saratoga Springs Publishing. The 40-page picture book sequel, “Colorworld: The Adirondack Adventure” was published in 2024, also by Saratoga Springs Publishing.
